Brigade Training

Training Schedule
The brigade has two set training sessions each month:

• the First Tuesday of the month between 7:30pm - 9:30pm
• the Second Saturday of the month between 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Note: Unless otherwise noted Training kicks-off at the Fire Station.

Training Activities:
Brigade facilitated training is focused on seasonal threats and a rolling theme-based program to ensure exposure and strengthening of specific skill sets.

We also have a Training Officer who is responsible for guiding all New Members from acceptance at their initial interview until they complete their initial mainstream NSW RFS training eg Bush Firefighter/Bush Firefighter Support Training and Assessment or Support Crew Induction.

Brigade training is separate from and additional to mainstream NSW RFS training.
