The bird species list accessible here is information extracted from the Canberra Ornithologists Group database, along with other sources including eBird Australia, the Atlas of Living Australia, BirdLife Australia's Birdata, published literature and reports provided by Wamboin and Bywong residents. The list currently includes 199 species. If anybody has valid records of species not listed here, please contact David McDonald and they will be added to the list.

The species' names are those used in BirdLife Australia's 2017 Working List of Australian Birds, v. 2.1.
