March Competition
The Wamboin Golf Club will hold its March competition, sponsored as is the tradition by Ken & Deb Gordon, on Sunday 4 March. Tee off from the Clubhouse (the Community Hall) from 12.30 pm. All welcome.

Wamboin Home Produce Market
As usual, the Produce Market is held at the Wamboin Community Hall, 9.00 am 'til noon.
Come along to our market in February. Variety of stalls, including lots of fresh fruit & vegies, healthy juices, coffee, egg & bacon rolls, jewellery, cards, lollies, dried fruits & nuts, cakes, sausage rolls, quiches, craft, knitting, preserves, and more. See you there!
The Fire Shed will also be open, and members of the Wamboin RFS will be in attendance to answer any questions you may have relating to the protection of your property during the summer fire season.

WCA 2017 Annual General Meeting
The primary purpose of the AGM is to elect the 2018 Executive and Committee. Nominations for all positions should be made in writing, signed by two members of the Association and accompanied by the written consent of the candidate, and should be delivered to the WCA Secretary, in person or by mail to 112 Bingley Way, Wamboin NSW 2620 (email to secretary@wamboincommunity.asn.au is fine too), by 11 April 2017. If insufficient nominations are received by that date to fill all the Committee positions, additional nominations can be received at the AGM.
The AGM will be followed by the April General Meeting.

Even though the fire season has ended, Wamboin RFS volunteers will again be on hand to answer any queries you have about protecting you home from bush fire.

Wheels of Wamboin
The Wheels of Wamboin is on again!
The 2018 Wheels of Wamboin will be held on Saturday April 21st – from 9.00am to 1.00pm. The event will be held at the Wamboin Community Hall, Bingley Way Wamboin (off Norton Road via Sutton Road) as per previous years.
The beauty of the Wheels of Wamboin is the huge variety (over 100 cars on the day) from all marques in a truly country atmosphere. A bonus on the day is the opportunity to pick up some healthy bargains at the monthly home produce markets. There will also be freshly brewed coffee and the local Wamboin RFS will also be running a BBQ. If you are interested in displaying your automotive masterpiece, or for further information please email peter.evans@wamboincommunity.asn.au to confirm your attendance or just turn up on the day.
Display entry is a gold coin donation and swap tables are $5 (remember to bring your cash as there is no EFTPOS).
